Girls Inc. of Alameda County is thrilled to be leading Bridges Academy After School Program! With the support of the principal, the After School Program has added strong academic growth and accelerate their reading abilities. Girls Inc. strongly upholds and supports Bridges Academy's mission and will provide a nurturing and safe environment for children during After School hours. The purpose of our program is to expand learning beyond the school day and complement daily classrooms instructions, while providing a structured environment that encourages creativity, imagination, and flexibility. The after school program provides gender specific academic intervention/support and enrichment activities. The program is designed to:
- Improve student's academic achievement
- Provide literacy skills development
- Expand students' opportunists by providing fun, hands-on enrichment activities
